The Early Bird Report from Paul.  Nice to meet up with a few of the ASC for some pints last night!

The Rockman Report.  Good fun on a cold, wintery eve!

The Tim Contrucci Report.  Great meeting everyone last night. Looking forward to getting back in the water soon!

The Snake Bite Report.  Despite the light snow falling and not finding a place to park close by, the group attending our ASC Snowflakes Social at the Galway Pub enjoyed our few hours of fun and story telling.  I arrived a little late from my all day kids wrestling match in Bethesda to find a good size crew sampling Irish brew and finger munchies at the bar.  It was great to meet a few of the new members attending, plus see a couple who surf different breaks and I practically never run into during the summer surf season. Talk ranged from club T-shirts, new board designs, who bought what, Big Wave Dave's Surf Museum and his new red turbo, upcoming trips by a few members to Central America, Taiwan, and Florida, to Chet's suggestions for the best ASC member photo from this past year.  There were also a couple of comments about what might have happened to "no-show" Jeff and about my suggestion on sacrificing a kneeboarder to bring the surf up?  After an hour or so, we headed into the restaurant for those who wanted food and I noticed several ordered the fish and chips special.  It looked good. It was too bad more members couldn't make it as these small get togethers are about all we can do when the surf is as fine as it has been lately.  One note while there, I gave Rod the last of my 2003 Memories CD to be used as fund raisers or for giveaways at the next ASC social. The new 2004 version was completed last week.
