Dan's "Dear John"
Letter to the ASC |
|
Thanks ASC
I'm back in sunny San Diego after experiencing
a real, old-fashioned East Coast winter. I pretty much missed out
on an epic El Niño winter on the West Coast, but I did get to enjoy
some excellent swell action along a pretty good stretch of East Coast,
from NJ down to the OBX. I also got an excellent guided surf tour
of Puerto Rico, courtesy of Señor Suicidio, and did a little surf
exploration in the Caribbean, all of which would have been pretty unlikely
if I had to travel all the way from the West Coast.
Back in October, I had big plans for cold
water surf. But when it came down to it, I couldn't hang. You
winter wave warriors have my deepest respect. You guys are core!
I had a great time surfing and partying
with all of you, thanks! I expect to be back in Balmer on business
fairly often, and I am looking forward to going downee shore. And
of course if any of you
happen to be in SoCal, let's hook it up!
Baja surf tours R us!
Right now the southern hemisphere is giving
us some love, 3.1' @ 15's from 201*, water temp 60F. Barrel time!
